Dolphins North is a floating fishing lodge is moored in a protected anchorage close to the shores of Work Channel in northern BC near the Alaska border. From our incredible floating lodge guests have an excellent view of the wildlife, like grizzly bears, black bears, sea otters, bald eagles, deer and wolves that hunt and fish along the water's edge. The sunsets here are legendary.
Ocean view double occupancy bedrooms complete with private bathroom and shower, a central dining area and several lounge areas provide welcome relaxation after the day's fishing or wildlife viewing.
It may be a wilderness fishing lodge for the serious angler with a reputation for great BC / Alaska fishing , but Dolphins North is also proud of its reputation for northern hospitality.

Salmon Recipes
Our Favorite ways to cook the catch of the day!
Olive Oil Lemon Marinade
1 large salmon filet
6 lemons juiced into bowl
Put olive oil equal to the amount of lemon juice in a separate bowl.
Add a heaping handful of salt to the lemon juice and stir
Chop up a couple bulbs of garlic
Keep stirring lemon mixture
Pour lemon mixture slowly into jar and leave behind sludge, pulp and lemon seeds.
Add garlic, olive oil and cracked pepper to jar.
Shake
Marinate salmon 1 ½ - 2 hours max
Cook Salmon on BBQ Skin side down, on low heat with lid down until done to satisfaction.
Whiskey Salmon Marinade
3 cup mazzola oil
1½ cup soya sauce
6 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp pepper
2 cup rye whiskey
½ cup demerera brown sugar
Marinade filleted salmon in ½ to 1 pound chunks for 2 or more hours.
Grill skin side down on hot BBQ for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness.
